Key Responsibilities- Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Assist in the safe and efficient transportation of construction materials to and from job sites.
- Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Assist in the setup and removal of temporary structures and equipment on construction sites.
- Assist in Drilling and Blasting Rock on Construction Sites: Support experienced carpenters and construction professionals in the drilling and blasting of rock on construction sites.
- Assist in Framing Houses, Erecting Walls, and Building Roofs: Assist in the construction of new buildings, including framing, wall erection, and roof installation.
- Level Earth to Fine Grade Specifications: Assist in ensuring that the earth is levelled to precise specifications on construction sites.
- Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Assist in the cleaning and organisation of salvaged materials on construction sites.
- Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites: Assist in the removal of rubble and debris from construction sites.
- Tend or Feed Machines or Equipment Used in Construction: Assist in the operation and maintenance of construction equipment and machinery.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Work Site Environment: This role involves working outdoors in a dusty environment.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
