We are currently in search of a Technical Architect to lead our ERP (SAP S/4HANA) implementation initiative. This permanent, full-time role is crucial for steering the SAP technology solutions and overseeing the comprehensive implementation strategy.
As an SAP Technical Architect, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert technical leadership in the design and architecture of SAP solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and adhere to industry standards.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams, to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Working alongside third-party advisors to define the SAP solution strategy, roadmap, and architecture, focusing on scalability and future business requirements.
- Guiding the implementation team on system design, integration, data management, security, and performance optimization throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conducting technical assessments and recommending enhancements, upgrades, and optimizations for SAP solutions.
- Ensuring effective coordination and integration of SAP solutions with other internal systems through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Identifying and mitigating technical risks and issues to keep the project aligned with its objectives.
- Staying informed about the latest SAP technologies and industry best practices, providing insights on their relevance to the project.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on SAP technical architecture and offering mentorship to the project team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience as an SAP Technical Architect or in a similar leadership capacity within SAP implementation projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP technologies, including S/4HANA, SAC, SAP FI, SAP SCM, SAP MM, and others.
- Strong grasp of SAP integration methodologies, data management principles, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
- Proven experience in defining SAP solution strategies and architectures that consider business requirements and scalability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset for proposing innovative solutions.
- Relevant SAP certifications are highly desirable, and experience with agile project methodologies is a plus.
