Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Security Research Engineers to enhance our team in Montreal and contribute to the evolution of our product offerings. This position presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a high-performing security team focused on advancing a rapidly growing security technology. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in pioneering security research related to software supply chain integrity.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of our team, you will:
- Design, implement, and evaluate security features on our platform, ensuring the protection of numerous organizations for years to come.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow engineers to deliver solutions in a dynamic, iterative environment, striking a balance between rapid development and maintaining high standards for code quality and product excellence.
- Engage in security research encompassing Application Security, Cloud Infrastructure, Developer Tools, CI/CD processes, open-source software vulnerabilities, and more.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- In-depth knowledge of Application Security and DevSecOps, with hands-on experience as well as expertise in tool development, including:
- Experience with SAST, DAST, and IAST methodologies.
- Proficiency in Cloud Security technologies.
- Familiarity with modern secure software development practices and tools.
- Software development capabilities:
- While this role is not primarily focused on software development, proficiency in Python is essential for automating aspects of your security research and creating Proof of Concepts.
- Adeptness in navigating a highly agile and intensely iterative software development environment.
