Senior Project Manager Opportunity

Lycopodium is a global engineering and project delivery company with a strong presence in Australia, Africa, Canada, Peru, and the Philippines. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Toronto-based team.

About the Role

This critical technical leadership position is responsible for overall project delivery and its resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of output, managing and developing the project team, and maintaining productive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality of output and alignment with project requirements, company objectives, and client needs.
  • Develop and maintain project-specific procedures, work practices, and protocols.
  • Ensure timely and accurate project control, including reporting, costs, schedule, trends, and change management.
  • Develop and maintain productive client relationships.
Requirements
  • Suitable degree qualifications in mineral processing and related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in taking a medium-sized greenfields gold project from concept to build and commissioning.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across different cultures.
  • Strong technical background with a broad multi-disciplinary base in mineral processing plant and infrastructure construction.
  • Demonstrated success and understanding of project implementation, constructability, OH&S, environmental, community, and industrial relations issues.
  • Ability to achieve consistently high standards within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Exceptional organisational and leadership skills.
