**Job Summary:**
Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Specialist to join our team at the Forensic Services and Coroner's Complex (FSCC). As a Security Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, its occupants, and visitors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Operate the Security Command Centre 24/7, monitoring CCTV/Security Alarms, Fire Alarm System, Temperature Monitoring Systems, and FSCC Security Email Inbox.
* Respond to Security assigned tasks from the CMMS/Helpdesk and dispatch Security Guards as required.
* Maintain a detailed CDL (Communication Directive Log), noting down all actions that took place during the shift.
* Conduct Daily Audits of CCTV Cameras/Doors to ensure all units are working as intended and camera views are not obscured/pointed at correct view.
* Report any deficiencies observed on any monitored system to Shift Supervisor/Security Coordinator/Manager.
**Main Desk Guard Responsibilities:**
* Provide general access control and concierge duties, including assisting Building Occupants and the general public with inquiries, visitor registration, and issuing Temporary Employee Access Cards.
* Respond to Fire Panel Alarms and Emergencies.
* Monitor Main Lobby/Access Control and conduct Daily Audits of CCTV Cameras/Doors.
**Patrol Guard Responsibilities:**
* Provide patrolling services on foot throughout the FSCC Complex, parking lots, and other outdoor areas during a 12-hour pre-determined period, 7 days per week.
* Provide Escorts and Contractor Supervision as required.
* Assist in the Completion of Inspections and Audits as required.
* Complete Work Alone Checks as required.
* Respond to Emergencies and SOC Dispatch Calls as required.
**Shipping and Receiving Guard Responsibilities:**
* Screen incoming vehicles and deliveries as per policy and procedures.
* Provide general access control duties and maintain Visitor Sign-in Log.
**Parking Guard Responsibilities:**
* Screen incoming vehicles during peak entry periods from 7:00 am to 10:00 am during Business Days.
**Requirements & Qualifications:**
* Must have a Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
* Must have a Valid WSIB-approved First Aid and CPR Level C Certification.
* Minimum of One Year of Experience in Security.
* Must be proficient in English (both oral and written).
* Vulnerable Sector Check.
**Education Requirements:**
* High School Diploma/GED.
**Certification Requirements:**
* Minimum of 1 year security experience.
* Police Foundations Diploma / Law and Justice Studies Degree.
* A Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
* Standard First Aid, CPR Level C.
