Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Worker to join our team at Lakeland Animal Care Group.
Job Summary:The Animal Care Worker will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to animals in our animal hospital and veterinary clinic settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Bathing and shampooing animals to ensure their cleanliness and comfort
- Preparing and serving food and water to animals, ensuring their nutritional needs are met
- Cleaning and disinfecting cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Recording animal treatment and care to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Cleaning animal ears and clipping nails to maintain their grooming and hygiene
- Performing dental cleaning on domestic animals to promote their oral health
- Handling animals with care and attention, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in animal care or a related field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
