Position Title: Heavy Machinery Mechanic/Technician

Position Overview:

  • Identify and diagnose issues in heavy machinery.
  • Conduct mechanical repairs on equipment both in the workshop and during field service.
  • Install new machinery and its components.
  • Repair hydraulic systems, including pumps and valves.
  • Troubleshoot both electrical and hydraulic systems effectively.
  • Service cooling and lubrication systems.
  • Evaluate equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay informed on advancements in technology and repair methodologies.
  • Maintain comprehensive maintenance records.
  • Comply with safety standards and regulations.
  • Perform additional mechanical repair tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Preferred certification as an Agricultural Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician.
  • Prior experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong understanding of heavy machinery.
  • Capability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • Physical capacity to lift weights up to 50lbs.
  • Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
