About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofing Specialist to join our team at Artisan Roofing & Home Improvements INC. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofs on commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
  • Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
  • Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials
  • Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
  • Repair roofing systems
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  • Install sheet metal flashings
  • Erect and install scaffolding and other working platforms
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions, and in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the roofing industry
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
