Airport Security Specialist

**About the Role**

As a Pre-Board Screening Officer with GardaWorld, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public. Your primary responsibility will be to screen travellers and their belongings, ensuring that non-permitted items do not enter the secure area. You will also be responsible for controlling access to restricted areas and responding to alarms and reports of illegal acts or violations.

**Responsibilities**

* Screen travellers and their belongings
* Ensure non-permitted items do not enter the secure area
* Control access to restricted areas
* Respond to alarms and reports of illegal acts or violations
* Participate in emergency operations within the airport

**Requirements**

* Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
* Clean criminal record and eligible for RAIC security clearance
* 18 years of age or older
* French verbal and written
* Must be located near La Grande Rivière or willing to relocate before starting
