Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery Operations: Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load customer orders properly on the truck and unload items to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure appropriate forms are completed and prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers.
  • Route Management: Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
  • Transportation and Safety: Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
Requirements:
  • Age and Authorization: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Physical Abilities: Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Material Handling: Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
