About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and mobility equipment through our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving Inventory: You will be responsible for shipping and receiving goods and mobility equipment, including creating shipping orders and labels, packing custom orders, and ensuring courier pick up.
  • Process Mobility Devices and Equipment: You will act as the gatekeeper for all our inventory and physical assets stored in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage, cleaning, and packing as items enter or exit the dock.
  • Communication: You will work with internal and external teams to ensure all inventory and shipments are correct and to make sure all shipping and receiving is coordinated.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: You have a high school diploma and ideally, have 1 year of relevant experience in an inventory handling or a general warehouse role.
  • Communication Skills: You can clearly and concisely communicate in person, over the phone or on paper, and provide outstanding customer service to any visitors or vendors who may be entering the warehouse.
  • Technical Skills: You are a handy person who knows their way around a wrench and have the ability to make minor adjustments to wheelchairs and can disassemble equipment with ease.
  • Additional Must Have Requirements: You are able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds in order to move or repair equipment and devices, have a clean criminal background check, a valid driver's licence, and are bondable.
  • The Nice to Haves: Bonus points if you have experience using Outlook and Navision in a warehouse setting and/or have a forklift certification.
