We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at ESSKAY HOMES INC. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Planning
- Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Site Preparation and Construction
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
- Project Management
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites.
- Supervise and lead a team of workers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
