Job Summary

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time English and Social Studies teacher/tutor to join our team at our Edmonton Windermere location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English and Social Studies to students in a part-time capacity
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field
  • Teaching certification or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
