About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lighting Technician to join our team at Illumi. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the integration and installation of lighting projects and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage and supervise the operations of the lighting area, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Lighting Operations: Operate the lighting console during performances and rehearsals, ensuring that all lighting systems are functioning properly.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain lighting equipment, ensuring that it is in good working condition and meets the required safety standards.
  • Task Coordination: Coordinate tasks by priority, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Installation and Setup: Ensure that lighting equipment is properly installed and complies with the design of the events.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and make modifications as required to ensure that lighting systems are functioning optimally.
Requirements
  • Team Player: A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: General knowledge of lighting systems, electronic knowledge, computer and network knowledge, and ability to read CAD schematics and blueprints.
  • Expertise: Expertise in lighting systems, including knowledge of the Grand MA 2 and other LX hardware/software.
  • Time Management: Ability to complete projects within timeline and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resourcefulness: Punctual and resourceful, with a strong attention to detail.
