Job Title: Network System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network System Administrator to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks
  • Install software and hardware
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. Must be able to work under pressure and have attention to detail.
