Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Vice President to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing departments, and formulating policies to drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff and delegate necessary authority
  • Conduct performance reviews and establish financial and administrative controls

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a management role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
