About The Role


Due to the expansion of our firm, we are currently in search of a skilled Litigation Associate to enhance our dynamic litigation department in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

The litigation division offers a comprehensive range of legal services to a diverse clientele, handling a variety of complex and engaging cases.

Our lawyers represent clients at all court levels within the Atlantic Provinces, as well as in the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada.

They frequently appear before various administrative and regulatory bodies, as well as in arbitration and mediation settings.

As a litigation attorney, your responsibilities will include providing litigation and dispute resolution services and guidance to a diverse array of clients, conducting thorough legal research, and delivering informed legal opinions. You will also be expected to maintain current knowledge and expertise in relevant legal areas, including statutes, case law, legal processes, and emerging trends.

About You

The ideal candidate is highly client-oriented and possesses excellent communication skills.

With a strong focus on efficiency and time management, you will manage your own caseload while collaborating with fellow litigation team members.

A minimum of 4 to 7 years of litigation experience in one or more of the following fields is required: general/civil litigation, commercial litigation, estate litigation, insurance defense, and construction/engineering litigation. Experience in these areas will be considered advantageous.

The successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, along with a robust drive for success.
