About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 1299661 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our food service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, as well as portioning and wrapping foods for service.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, and maintain accurate records of food quantities.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive team dynamic.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and work under pressure.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and stand for long periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and a team player attitude.
