Position: Electronic Component Assembly Specialist

Under the guidance of the Manager, this role is crucial for the assembly and placement of electronic components utilizing sophisticated machinery with precision and safety. The responsibilities include configuring, operating, and diagnosing issues with Auto-insertion and SMT equipment, performing quality assessments, and managing PCB inventory meticulously. The ideal candidate should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training, certification as a machine operator, and a minimum of three years of experience with Auto-insertion and SMT equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to work autonomously or collaboratively are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently operate and troubleshoot Auto-insertion and SMT machinery
  • Perform quality inspections utilizing AOI and other inspection tools
  • Accurately maintain PCB inventory and organize the workspace
  • Conduct inspections of boards post-processing
  • Utilize Materials Management Software for stock tracking
  • Adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred certification as a machine operator
  • Three years of experience with Auto-insertion and SMT machinery
  • Ability to interpret work orders and production schematics
  • Familiarity with electronic components and assembly methodologies
  • Experience adhering to IPC class 2 standards
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet production deadlines
  • Capability to lift heavy items and perform mathematical calculations
  • Effective communication skills
