Senior Civil Engineering Technologist

Position Overview: WSP Canada is seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Technologist to join our dynamic Transportation and Infrastructure team. This role will involve collaborating on municipal projects that cater to both public and private sector clients, focusing on essential services such as water and wastewater management, stormwater systems, municipal roadways, and land development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct both preliminary and comprehensive design for civil infrastructure related to water supply, sanitary sewer systems, and stormwater management, including linear works, valve chambers, and pumping stations.
- Provide construction services, including on-site field assessments and contract administration in accordance with MMCD standards.
- Manage client relationships effectively.
- Contribute to the development of proposals.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- A diploma in civil technology from an accredited institution.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience, encompassing design, project management, and construction oversight.
- Registered or eligible for registration with ASTT BC.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Experience in construction management and the creation of contract documents.
- Demonstrated success in client management and proposal/report writing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $80,800 - $111,100. The final compensation may vary based on various factors, including education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and organizational needs.
