Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Financial Agency Professional Corporation. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting and financial services.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The work language is English.
