About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Banff National Perk Cafe. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every customer has a positive experience in our cafe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, including the cafe, kitchen, and restrooms.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food and beverages, including operating the cash register and handling customer transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, including food, beverages, and cleaning products.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week.
Personal Suitability
  • Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Reliability: Ability to maintain a consistent work schedule and meet deadlines.
