Job Title: Eagle's Eye Chef de Partie

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading a line and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a line and ensure food and presentation standards are maintained
  • Assess needs for preparation work or supplies prior to service and communicate with manager
  • Promote a safe and sanitized work environment
  • Update inventory lists for communication to manager
  • Ensure closing procedures are fully completed for all stations
  • Prepare, cook, and plate food to established standards
  • Participate in team orientation, team meetings, and regular cleaning
  • Assist with inventory and menu development as needed
  • Maintain effective communication with restaurant staff and teammates

Requirements:

  • 3 years previous experience in a food preparation role in a professional dining establishment
  • Experience leading a line and ensuring food and presentation standards are maintained
  • Love of and passion for food and cooking
  • Food Safe or other food handling certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Culinary background, education, or diploma an asset
