About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Autobody Repairer to join our team at Fix Auto Chambly. As an Autobody Repairer, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Replace Body Components
    • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
    • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
    • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Operate Equipment and Tools
    • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
    • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
  • Meet Quality and Safety Standards
    • Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards
    • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Work with Colleagues and Customers
    • Work effectively with colleagues to complete repairs
    • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and expectations
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • 5 years or more of experience in the automotive body repair industry
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Fluency in English or French
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
