Assistant General Manager

Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Director will report to the Store Director and assist in the overall management of the store to achieve maximum sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Director in setting sales targets and providing necessary support to department managers to achieve these targets.
- Regularly inspect the store to ensure quality, freshness, and cleanliness, and provide feedback to department managers.
- Assist the Store Director in customer service, responding to complaints, and resolving issues.
- Assist the Store Director in human resources management, administration, recruitment, and training of staff.
- Conduct sporadic checks on merchandise receipt, invoices, quality, and other aspects.
- Act as a substitute for the Store Director in their absence.
Requirements:
- Secondary V
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the food industry
- Ability to plan, direct, and organize in a unionized environment
- Effective communication skills
- Bilingualism (an asset)
