We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Transportation Coordinator at EightSix Network. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate trips with drivers to optimize routes and reduce transit times.
  • Coordinate travel with clients to meet their specific needs and requirements.
  • Establish and negotiate rates with clients to ensure competitive pricing and maximize revenue.
  • Plan Truck Returns to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Track trips to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement new methods to improve performance and increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • Work Permit

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the transportation industry, with a focus on logistics and dispatch.
  • Results-oriented leadership skills, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of TWM (TruckMate) and ISAAC an asset.
  • Sales experience and US customs paperwork in and out.
  • Special permits for oversize loads.
