Job Title: Web Developer

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing web applications, ensuring they are user-friendly, efficient, and meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients to understand their web development needs and requirements
  • Design and develop web applications using various programming languages and technologies
  • Ensure web applications are secure, scalable, and meet accessibility standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize web development projects
  • Develop and maintain web applications, including coding, testing, and debugging
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in web development
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages like PHP or Ruby
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular
  • Knowledge of back-end frameworks like Node.js or Django
  • Understanding of database management systems like MySQL or MongoDB
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
