About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Financière Sun Life. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the third-party risk management program, ensuring that all third-party risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated.

You will work closely with various stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and third-party vendors, to ensure that all risks are properly managed and that our organization's risk appetite is aligned with our business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, with experience in third-party risk management, compliance, and financial services. You will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive third-party risk management program
  • Conduct risk assessments and due diligence on third-party vendors
  • Monitor and report on third-party risk exposure
  • Collaborate with business leaders and risk managers to ensure that risk management practices are aligned with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party vendors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., risk management, finance, business)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on third-party risk management
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and stakeholders
