Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will be responsible for leading and managing environmental projects related to land development, including environmental impact assessments, environmental implementation reports, and master environmental and servicing plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage environmental projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement environmental project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and review environmental reports, including environmental impact assessments and environmental implementation reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, including natural scientists, technologists, and technical support staff.
  • Identify and mitigate environmental risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, ecology, or a related environmental sciences field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on land development projects.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing environmental projects, including project management for land development clients.
  • Strong knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation, regulations, policies, guidelines, and regulatory permitting and approval requirements for land development applications.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
