About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Store Associate at DJ Specialties. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with finding products.
  • Stock Management: Receive and stock merchandise, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Merchandising: Maintain attractive store displays, restock shelves, and ensure products are facing forward.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and maintain the store, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a supermarket/grocery store environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods is required.
