Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in pest control is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Work may involve confined spaces, exposure to odours, dusty conditions, and heights.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and surrounding areas to identify signs of pest infestations.
  • Assess the type of treatment necessary for effective pest management.
  • Prepare and apply chemical mixtures to infested locations.
  • Set traps for the capture and removal of pests.
  • Clear areas that may attract or harbor pests.
  • Provide clients with guidance on preventing future infestations.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence is mandatory.
  • Completion of Fall Arrest Protection Training Course is required.
Safety and Security
  • A criminal record check will be conducted.
Transportation Requirements
  • A valid driver's licence is essential for this position.
Physical Demands
