Job Title: Clinical Dietitian

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at 100 Mile House Hospital in 100 Mile House, BC.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide nutrition services through assessment, care planning, and charting, as well as intervention, goal setting, and monitoring. They will also counsel and educate patients, consult with multidisciplinary care teams, and act as a resource to other health professionals and communities within Interior Health.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nutrition services to patients, including assessment, care planning, and charting
  • Develop and implement nutrition care plans
  • Counsel and educate patients on nutrition and health
  • Consult with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Act as a resource to other health professionals and communities within Interior Health
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics
  • Successful completion of an accredited hospital-based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility)
  • Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC)
  • Two years of clinical nutrition experience in a healthcare environment (or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience)
  • Practice-specific requirements and experience in programs applicable to the practice area
  • Valid driver's license
