Senior Manager, Business Operations Merchant Payment Services

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Operations Merchant Payment Services to join our team. As a key member of our Merchant Payment Services business operations team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute complex business strategies to drive growth and improve operational efficiency in the Merchant Payment Services business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities, and develop and implement plans to achieve business objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of business processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide subject matter expertise on merchant acquiring and payments to internal stakeholders, and develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions, and develop and implement metrics to measure business performance.
- Lead and manage a team of business operations professionals to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Proven experience in business operations, merchant acquiring, and payments, with a strong understanding of the payments industry and its trends.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop business solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen, with a strong understanding of business operations, finance, and risk management.
