Preload Operations Supervisor

About the Role
CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preload Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of preloaders and warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise a team of preloaders and warehouse staff to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Operational Excellence
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and other departments to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
- Identify and resolve operational issues and problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Make informed decisions that align with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent international qualification.
- Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and other productivity software.
