Job Title: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team at PMC Energy Limited. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and cooling systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems, including refrigeration and air conditioning units.
  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients.
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the trade.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
  • Provide customer service and respond to client inquiries.
  • Start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices.
  • Perform maintenance tasks, such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems.
  • Interpret gas codes and handle, recover, and store refrigerants.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.
Requirements:
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
