We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at Longlac Pizzeria & Steakhouse. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and requisitioning supplies as needed.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, ensuring presentation and quality meet our standards.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and record-keeping.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of quality in your work.
