Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Culinary Team Member to join our team at Canucks Sports & Entertainment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food is prepared and served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned station in the kitchen, overseeing food preparation and presentation.
  • Assist Sous Chefs by providing support to culinary staff, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
  • Work and train in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a focus on food safety and preparation standards.
  • Implement and enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen facilities.
  • Partner with Lead Cooks, Cooks, and Apprentice Cooks to ensure the highest quality food is prepared and served to our guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar level of role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays with various start times based on kitchen needs.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Completion of Food Safe Certificate.
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM).
  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2025.
