Job Title: Performance Testing Developer

Vention Inc. is a high-growth startup that is revolutionizing the manufacturing industry with its innovative technology. We are seeking a skilled Performance Testing Developer to join our team and help us drive our simulation engine to the next level.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented developer who can design, document, and implement new 3D simulation tools and workflows. As a member of our agile scrum team, you will refine our simulation engine by improving its accuracy and capabilities. You will work closely with our team lead, product manager, UX/UI designer, senior executives, and QA to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, engineering, or mathematics, with at least 5 years of software development experience. You will have a passion for working on complex projects, both individually and in a team, and be able to drive continuous improvement for our development and testing practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new 3D simulation tools and workflows
  • Refine our simulation engine to improve accuracy and capabilities
  • Participate in agile activities such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team in all aspects of agile software development
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality software
Qualifications
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • At least 5 years of software development experience
  • Strong linear algebra skills with good exposure to computer graphics
  • Experience developing software for robotic applications is an asset
  • Knowledge of ROS is an asset
