Job Summary

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time Math and Science Teacher/Tutor to join our team. As an Interactive Coach, you will work directly with students to help them develop their math and science skills.

Responsibilities
  • Teach math and science to students at a Grade 9 to 12 level
  • Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum
  • Some experience teaching/tutoring math and science at a Grade 9 to 12 level
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
  • Strong math skills and ability to guide students' understanding
  • Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
