Job Title: Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Arokaya Healing Wellness Centre Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Massage Therapist will be responsible for administering massage techniques to clients, assessing their needs, and providing treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of massage therapy principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint pain mobilizations.
  • Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans.
  • Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients.
  • Maintain records of treatments given.
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.
  • Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 30 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.

  • Standing for extended periods.
