Associate Attorney – Commercial Litigation

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with 7-10 years of experience in commercial litigation to join our team at GPAC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, draft high-quality legal documents, and prepare for hearings and trials, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys to develop effective case strategies and tactics, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts, showcasing excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a reputable institution.
  • Admission to the Law Society of British Columbia.
  • 7-10 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong academic credentials, including excellent law school transcripts.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Experience working with big law firms is a plus.
