Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Smart Route Logistics Limited. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer: Drive a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain records: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with dispatch: Relay information to central dispatch and receive updates on route changes or other important information.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license: Possess a valid AZ class license.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Truck Driver is an asset.
  • Physical abilities: Ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
