About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Private Home. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as administering medications and providing emotional support.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Companionship: Engage in activities with clients, such as walking, reading, or watching movies, to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with shopping, bill paying, and other errands to help clients manage their daily lives.
Requirements
  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and Health Care Aide or Personal Support Worker certification.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in a home support or healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
