About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our team at BULK BUY WHOLESALE. As a key member of our retail meat processing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
  • Cut and trim carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer specifications
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
  • Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts and price meat products
  • Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Grind meats and make special sausages as required
  • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
  • Slaughter cattle, calves, and sheep as prescribed by religious laws
  • Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses
  • Prepare special orders and cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment
  • Reliable and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
