We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Cyber Threat Intelligence function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis of emerging cyber security threats and assess the potential impact to Scotiabank.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of common cyber adversaries, attack vectors, intrusion tactics, and attacker tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Develop and deliver high-quality technical papers documenting security threats, risks, and mitigation techniques.
- Communicate situational awareness and technical intelligence to internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English and Spanish.
- At least 2 years of hands-on technical working experience in network security, information security, and/or network support.
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
- Familiarity with evaluating and sharing Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) via reports, formal briefs, and threat indicator sharing platforms.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data from multiple sources, documenting the results, and providing meaningful analysis reports and briefings.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field.
- Security certifications (e.g., GSEC, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CompTIA Networking+, ITIL CEH, and OSCP) would be an asset.
