Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Kindertots Child Care Centre. This permanent position involves working 40 hours per week in a nurturing environment that promotes the growth and development of young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development Assessment: Evaluate children's progress to create personalized learning plans.
  • Supportive Environment: Assist colleagues with daily tasks including housekeeping and meal preparation.
  • Care for Infants and Toddlers: Provide essential care such as bathing, feeding, and diapering.
  • Program Development: Design and implement educational programs that foster physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all daycare equipment is in good condition.
  • Engagement Activities: Lead storytelling sessions and creative activities to stimulate children's imagination.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside other educators to support children's development.
  • Creative Expression: Encourage children to explore their creativity through various mediums.
  • Health and Safety: Establish a safe and healthy environment for all children.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a College or CEGEP program in Early Childhood Education.
  • Membership in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
