We are currently seeking a co-op candidate who is enthusiastic about construction engineering technology to support our integrated digital delivery team within our civil division.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employ automated design software and engineering expertise to develop accurate 3D representations based on project specifications and methodologies.
  2. Establish the 3D model in the correct coordinates and orientation within a digital delivery environment.
  3. Configure layers and styles of elements according to project guidelines.
  4. Conduct model audits and purging prior to submission to coordinators.
  5. Create dynamic blocks and attributes utilizing provided Dynamo scripts.
  6. Perform quantity estimations and other calculations using cloud-based tools.
  7. Generate, modify, validate, and prepare detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings to align with project expectations.
  8. Assist in producing 2D sheets from multi-discipline 3D models.
  9. Deliver precise and compliant 3D models in various formats.

Qualifications:

  1. Pursuing a graduate degree in Civil Engineering, BIM, Drafting, or a related field.
  2. Proficient understanding of CAD, design development, and engineering principles.
  3. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, InfraWorks, Dynamo, and other AEC digital tools.
  4. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Teams.
  6. 1 to 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  7. Able to interpret 2D and 3D BIM drawings to assist in resolving modeling issues.

Preferred Technical Skills:

  1. Hands-on experience with Bentley design software for model-based digital delivery.
  2. Over two years of experience as a drafter or technical designer.
  3. Intermediate or advanced skills in the Autodesk AEC collection suite.
  4. Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud.
