Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair installed fire alarm systems, including panel repair and reprogramming, device replacement and repair, and system testing.
  • Organize and apply technical resources, information, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
  • Develop and maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Program fire alarm, security, and access control system panels.
  • Complete and submit task-related documentation in a timely manner.
  • Be available for on-call and after-hours work as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Possess valid CFAA Certification.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience with fire alarm systems, including various vendors.
  • Strong working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and complete reports.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and overnight travel may be required.
  • Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
  • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Bilingual French and English.
  • Government Security Clearance.
