About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Guelph General Hospital. As a key member of our Finance Team, you will play a critical role in supporting clinical programs, financial analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with peer analysts and leadership to support clinical programs and financial analysis
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of financial information and support the capital budget process and year-end external audit
  • Co-lead the preparation of the annual operating budget

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • Minimum 5 years accounting and computerized financial systems experience, preferably in a not-for-profit sector
  • Intermediate to advanced level of knowledge in MS Office
  • Hospital accounting and financial reporting/analysis experience an asset
  • OHRS (Ontario Healthcare Reporting System) knowledge an asset
  • Knowledge of MOHLTC funding framework, including HAPS & HSAA, and Health System Funding Reform an asset
  • Experience in using Meditech and/or Power BI an asset
  • Experience supervising staff would be an asset
