We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Activity Aide to join our team at Southbridge Kemptville Long Term Care Home. As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized and group activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Activity Director and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of programs and services.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident behavior or condition to the Supervisor and nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of program participation and resident engagement.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience in program planning and implementation for seniors, particularly those with cognitive impairments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
